• Our understanding of Christian discipleship is enhanced through our Bible-based educational programs. This knowledge better equips us to meet life’s challenges, opportunities, and responsibilities as children of God. 

FPC Christian Education

Church School

Church School classes begin each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and end at 10:15 a.m.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held during the summer months each year for one week. Classes are available for children three years of age through the fifth grade. The Vacation Bible School dates for 2018 will be June 17th - June 21th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. The theme this year is "Rolling River Rampage - Experience the Ride of a Lifetime with God!".   

Children's Classes:
The curriculum used from Preschool through Fifth Grade emphasizes discipleship. Lessons are age appropriate, rotating through units on the Bible, God, Discipleship, Church and World.

Youth Classes:
Youth classes are topical, responding to the interests and needs of the students. Recent classes include a study from "Being Presbyterian in the Bible Belt," movie studies of Narnia and Evan Almighty, and Biblical study. 

Adult Classes: 

Two or more adult classes are available. One is Biblically based, using the “Present Word” curriculum. The other centers around various Biblical or contemporary issues.


SPY – Springdale Presbyterian Youth
Each Sunday evening the youth of FPC in grades 6-12th meet at 5:30 for dinner together followed by a program of study or mission & service which, no doubt, will also include lots of fun and games. Through SPY our youth are offered tools to help them apply their faith to life situations, build strong friendships, and take an active part in the life of FPC.

SPY - Camps, Conferences, & Quakes
Camps & Conferences Outside our local setting, our Youth are encouraged to take part in local Summer Camps at Ferncliff Camp, and in Presbytery wide camps at MO Ranch in Texas, and Montreat in North Carolina. Sr. High youth are also encouraged to participate as Youth Delegates to the February meeting of the Presbytery of Arkansas where they vote as advisory delegates.

Youth Quakes Youth from across the Arkansas Presbytery gather for Jr. High Youth Quake each Fall and for Sr. High Quake each Spring at Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center outside Little Rock. What, you say, is QUAKE? Only the most amazing weekend of worship, music, games, and friendship that your’ Youth will ever experience!!!

SPY - Mission & Service
Mission Trips for SPY have included work in Mexico and opportunities to work in rebuilding homes in the Gulf of Mexico through Presbytery wide Youth Work Groups. Youth from FPC serve as leaders in our annual VBS, Easter Egg Hunt, and Trunk or Treat activities for the younger children in our community.
