Kade Curry, Pastor
Rev. Kade Curry began his service as Pastor Head of Staff at FPC Springdale in June of 2017. Rev. Kade was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the PC(USA) in June of 2009, and has served churches in Texas and Arkansas for the last 10 years. Rev. Kade is married to wife Jenni and together they have 3 wonderfully crazy kids Evan (11), Addie (9), and Asher (6). Rev. Kade is known for his conversational style of preaching, his energy and enthusiasm for meaningful ministry that is applied daily to meeting the needs of people, and his passion for the unique witness of reformed theology as an expression of Christianity in the world. Rev. Kade enjoys family, running, and is even learning to play the Banjo!

Mary Shaw, Director of Christian Education
Mary Shaw has served as Director of Education at First Presbyterian Church since 2011. Mary has a certificate in Youth Ministry Leadership Initiative from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. She also had a Certificate In Ministry from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and has been approved for Commissioned Ruling Elder status. She actively serves on the Presbytery of Arkansas Youth Advisory Team.

Marilyn Bierwagen, Secretary/Bookkeeper

Originally from Syracuse, NY, Marilyn has worked as a medical secretary, owned an awards and engraving business, and worked as a bookkeeper for First Baptist Church in Mountain Home, AR. When she and her husband Dan moved to Springdale, she began her employment as Secretary/ Bookkeeper with First Presbyterian Church in February, 2002.

Celice Clark, Organist

Celice has served as Organist/ Pianist at First Presbyterian Church since January, 1989. She is a graduate of Capital University receiving a B.M.E. degree with a major in piano. She also works as Associate for Administration in the University of Arkansas Athletics Department.

Scarlett Morris, Chancel Choir Director

Scarlett Morris has taught Band, Choir, and General music from PK through the college level. For the last 21 years, She has been the 7th Grade Choir Director at JO Kelly Middle School. She is Certified to teach Choir and Band PK-12 and also certified in English as a Second Language K-12. She has been a consultant across the state of Arkansas, giving professional development training to teachers in music and also educational technology She is a novice teacher mentor and also a Mentor Trainer for the state of Arkansas. She is the only music educator in the US that is a certified Emints teacher, which is a certification that combines effective teaching strategies that include educational technology.

Pam Gilbreath,Children's Choir and Handbell Director

Pam Gilbreath directs Children's Choirs. She has been actively involved in church music for more than twenty years. In a previous church, she directed both Elementary and Jr. High/ High School choirs for fifteen and four years respectively. Pam also serves as director of the Crandell Ringers handbell choir.

Megan Harwell, Nursery Director

Megan Harwell, a member of FPC Springdale since 1991, has a Bahelor of Arts degree from Hendrix College and is a Registered Nurse working at Hellstern Middle School in Springdale as the School Nurse. She is currently working on her Masters of Science degree in Nursey to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Megan has four childern: Jackson, Cooper, Ella, and Corie. She is also a member of the FPC Chancel Chior and actively participates in the church's youth and family events. 

Session meets on the 4th Monday of the Month at 6:30pm
